Does 300 ppm work quicker than 200 ppm?

Ryan from California writes:

I attended the hypochlorous acid webinar last month and had a question about the best concentration to use. In the webinar Dr. Leslie Fang said he recommends at least 200ppm HOCl for disinfecting a dental operatory and for spraying on gowns to kill covid 19. We were just told by our dental supplier that “200ppm is good, but 300ppm is better” because it kills covid more quickly. Can you verify this? Is there any risk to using 300ppm for fogging rooms with computers or fogging people? I noticed that the generator sold on your site only creates up to 200ppm.

My response: ( I apologize if this sounds snarky…it was not my intention, but I would like the dental supplier to back up the claim they made)

Hi Ryan,

In response to your question about HOCl 200ppm vs. 300ppm, can you tell me 2 things:

1.  What research is the dental supplier basing their comment about 300 ppm killing Covid more quickly? I have not been able to find any articles with that recommendation or that claim?

2.  Does your dental supplier perhaps want you to purchase the pre-made solution from them at 300ppm instead of making your own at 200 ppm?

Let me know what you find out.

Stay safe,

Best regards,

Lisa
