Blogging about Fogging!
I recently gave a webinar for DC Dental Company on cold fogging dental treatment rooms using hypochlorous acid to reduce the viral particles in the aerosols created by high-speed handpieces and ultrasonic scalers.https://register.gotowebinar.com/recording/5479394613646418690 There were over 2100 people in attendance, and since then over 3200 people have watched the replay. What followed was volumes of questions pouring in and I have made a good faith effort to answer them individually. What occurred to me is that there needed to be a place where I could answer these questions and share the information with all of you, rather than individually. And a place where you could give me the answers to the questions that I could not answer.
By now I am sure that you know that we won the COVID -19 lottery for ” the profession most likely to get sick in the workplace”. We are currently being bombarded with information, often contradictory, and certainly very confusing. So, the intent of this forum is to give us a place to ask and answer questions, cooperate, collaborate, and share our best practices. I like to think that Sars Cov-2 is Goliath and we are collectively David. And we all know how that story turned out!
We survived the amalgam scare. We persevered during the crisis surrounding the HIV virus. This could be our finest hour. We are stronger together and we can figure it out if we share our information and resources. Let’s tackle this new dilemma with everything we’ve got! Please join in!
